French Transcription

French transcription fails in predictable places: liaison binds words together so boundaries blur ('les amis' is not two clean tokens), silent endings make homophones constant (parler, parlé, parlez), and the gap between formal written French and spoken French — with its dropped ne, its on for nous — confuses tools trained on text. Add Québécois vowels or Abidjan's rhythm and most transcribers fall apart.
