Put an AI chatbot on your site that answers from your own episodes and videos — not a help center. Every answer cites the moment it came from, every conversation can capture a lead, and the questions it can’t answer tell you what to make next. One script tag to install.
Most “AI Chatbots” Are Support Bots. Yours Should Know Your Content.
Search “AI chatbot” and you get tools built for one job: deflecting customer-support tickets from a help center. Train it on your docs, drop it on a pricing page, count the tickets it closed. That is a fine product — for a SaaS company. A creator’s visitors aren’t filing tickets. They’re asking “what did you say about pricing a course?”, “which mic do you use?”, “is there an episode on hiring an editor?” — and a docs bot has nothing to say.
Castmagic’s Audience Chat is trained on your episodes and videos themselves — the recordings, transcribed. A visitor asks, the bot answers from what you actually said, and every answer cites the episode and plays the exact moment. Ask it something your library doesn’t cover and it says so rather than guessing. Every conversation can capture an email, and the questions it couldn’t answer are flagged as gaps — a list of what to record next.
What makes it a creator chatbot, not a support bot
The difference is what it’s trained on and what it’s for. A support bot ingests documents and tries to end conversations quickly. Audience Chat ingests your recordings and tries to keep a visitor listening — the answer to “what did you say about pricing?” is a paragraph plus a button that plays the moment from episode 42. It is built to send people deeper into your catalog, not away from a ticket queue.
It also refuses to make things up. If a question isn’t covered by your episodes, the bot says so instead of inventing an answer, and questions that look like support requests are routed to the support link you set. Those refusals aren’t dead ends — they show up in your inbox as content gaps.
Leads, even when you’re over your limit
A visitor gets a few free questions, then the email gate holds the next one until they leave an address — and asks the question for them the moment they do. Each plan includes a monthly pool of questions (100 on Hobby, 500 on Starter, 2,000 on Team, 5,000 on Business). Spend it and the bot enters capped mode: answering pauses, but the gate and lead capture keep working, so the widget is never dead on your site.
Who builds a chatbot from their content
Podcasters with a back-catalog visitors can’t skim. YouTubers whose best explanations are buried at 14:32 in a video from last year. Course creators and coaches whose students keep asking questions the material already answers. Newsletter writers with an archive nobody searches. Anyone whose audience says “didn’t you cover this once?” — the answer is now a question away.

How To Build an AI Chatbot From Your Own Content
Bring in your episodes and videos
Paste a link to an episode or video — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Zoom, Loom and most platforms work — or upload files directly. Or turn on autopilot so every new episode in your feed is imported the moment it publishes.
Castmagic transcribes everything
Each recording gets a speaker-labeled, timestamped transcript in any of 60+ languages. That transcript is the only thing the bot answers from, which is what keeps it honest.
Turn on Audience Chat and pick what it can see
By default the bot answers from your published episodes only, so a public bot never quotes a private recording. Flip one switch to include everything in the space. Set the name, colors, welcome message and your support link.

Frequently Asked Questions
Last updated September 2026 by the Castmagic team
What is an AI chatbot for creators?
A chatbot you install on your own site that answers visitors’ questions from your episodes and videos, rather than from a help center. Castmagic’s Audience Chat is trained on your transcribed recordings; every answer cites the episode and plays the moment, and each conversation can capture a lead.
What does the bot answer from?
Your published episodes by default — the same ones on your public share pages — so a public bot never quotes a private recording. You can switch it to everything in your Castmagic space. If a question isn’t covered, it says so rather than guessing; support-shaped questions are sent to your support link.
Will it make up answers?
No. Answers are grounded in your transcripts and cite the exact episode and timestamp, so a visitor can press play and check. Questions outside your library are refused, and those refusals are logged as content gaps so you can see what people wanted.
How does it capture leads?
After a few free questions, an email gate holds the next question until the visitor leaves an address, then asks it for them. Leads land in the Leads tab of your inbox on every plan, next to the conversation that captured them. From the Starter plan you can export them as CSV.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
The bot enters capped mode: answering pauses, but the email gate and lead capture keep working, so it never goes dark on your site. Limits reset each calendar month — 100 questions on Hobby, 500 on Starter, 2,000 on Team, 5,000 on Business.
Can I remove the “Powered by Castmagic” footer?
Yes — white label is included on the Business plan. There is no separate branding add-on.
Does it work on my website builder?
Any site that can load a script tag: WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Framer, Wix, or a custom build. You choose the format — a floating launcher, an “ask” bar, or the chat inline on the page. The inline format is available from Starter.
What does it cost?
Audience Chat is included with every Castmagic plan, from $29 a month, alongside transcription and the content tools. Higher plans include more questions per month, CSV lead export and white label.
